Preparing for Solar Panel Test

APL STEREO engineers prepare one of the observatory's solar panels for deployment testing that will occur inside a thermal vacuum chamber at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, Md. Such testing verifies the solar panels will appropriately open in space after launch.
