Solar Panel Vibration Tests

All spacecraft hardware undergoes a series of environmental tests prior to launch. Here, STEREO mechanical technicians at APL are preparing one of the four solar panels for vibration tests. This type of test simulates the vibrations a spacecraft will encounter during its ride aboard a launch vehicle.
